Angora Goats

 The Angora or Ankara is a Turkish breed of domesticated goat. It produces the lustrous fibre known as mohair. It is widespread in many countries of the world. Many breeds derive from it, among them the Indian Mohair, the Soviet Mohair, the Angora-Don of the Russian Federation and the Pygora in the United States.  ( wikipedia)

All our fiber animals are shorn in a way to be the least stressful. Often our animals are standing and enjoying pets and treats along the way as we harvest. We coat our animals when weather requires it. Their fiber is maintained throughout growth period to help us process it easier for use. Angora goats are one of the easiest , calmest goats we have ever raised and its a pleasure to care for them.
