Why Mama T? 

I have been called lot of names during my lifetime, but

" Mama T" was the only one that really stuck long term. 

I am a artist, a dancer, a gardener, a wanderer, a wild spirit, a creative soul who feels out of place in time - most of the time. 

I am a unschooling mother of many , wife to an amazing "jack of all trades" fella and owner of Mama T's Homestead LLC. 

Here we offer classes and workshops through a variety of topics. Obviously those almost extinct hand skills, homesteading 101 topics, Herbs , Plants and Animals and so many things in between... and my favorite - ART classes! 

For many years we have had requests to offer classes so that others could learn things we do here on our homestead and had been successful with. I am delighted to offer a variety of classes for our area. 

Our homestead is bountiful with various plants, herbs and animals. We focus producing quality fiber from our romney sheep, angora goats and angora rabbits! We pride ourselves in sustainably and humanely raising fibers that we process on farm and hand spin into yarn for crafts and sale to the public.  Aside from that sharing art in many forms and general education of holistic lifestyle through classes and community outreach is a joy.
